ARMA International Award Winners
We are proud to celebrate two outstanding members of the ARMA San Antonio community who were recognized at ARMA International’s InfoCon 2025 for their exceptional contributions to the Records and Information Management profession.
Emerging Professional of the Year Award
Presented for the first time in ARMA’s 70-year history, the Emerging Professional of the Year Award honors professionals early in their careers who are making a meaningful impact through leadership, involvement, and dedication to advancing the Records and Information Management and Information Governance professions.
Our very own Carlos Zilm, ARMA San Antonio Chapter Director, received this inaugural award in recognition of his leadership, creativity, and ongoing efforts to elevate awareness, engagement, and collaboration within our profession. Carlos’s passion and vision continue to inspire both emerging and established professionals across the ARMA community.
Volunteer of the Year Award
The Volunteer of the Year Award, formerly known as the Member of the Year Award, recognizes ARMA International Professional members who have gone above and beyond in supporting and promoting the mission and vision of our organization. These individuals exemplify what it means to serve through their dedication to their chapters, their willingness to help fellow members, their contributions to committees and boards, and their ongoing advocacy for the profession.
This year, Amanda (Mandy) Cockrell from the ARMA San Antonio Chapter was honored with this recognition. Amanda’s dedication, energy, and willingness to support others reflect the true spirit of volunteerism and strengthen the foundation of our community.
We are incredibly proud of both Carlos and Mandy for representing the San Antonio Chapter with excellence and passion. Their achievements inspire us all to continue advancing the mission of ARMA and to empower professionals to manage information with purpose and integrity.
