Position Descriptions
President: presides at all meetings of Board of Directors and Chapter; sets Board meeting agendas; exercises general supervision over the activities and welfare of the Chapter; maintains open communication with ARMA International and Chapter Board members; appoints chairmen of standing and special committees with Board approval.
Vice President: aides the President in their duties and performs duties in their absence; manages the Chapter email account; performs additional duties delegated by the Board of Director, as required.
Secretary: responsible for recording, custody, and distribution of Minutes of all Board of Directors and Chapter meetings; serves as chief Election Officer and presents the nominees and manages the voting process; maintains records of the Chapter.
Treasurer: manages the funds of the Chapter by keeping accurate accounting as in accordance with the approved budget; presents a report at all Board meetings; prepares and submits the annual report required by ARMA International.
Non-Elected Board of Directors
In addition, to the Board elected positions we also have 4 (four) Board appointed Board Directors that serve at different capacities to include membership, monthly meeting program, annual seminar and communications/public relations.
Duties include:
· Reviews international membership list sent to Chapter
· Sends reminders to members about membership
· Introduce and welcome new members to the Chapter
· Invite new members to luncheons
· Coordinate speakers for monthly luncheon meetings
· Send monthly luncheon meeting announcements
· Coordinate annual seminar speakers, vendors, venue, and catering
· Prepare chapter advertisements
· Post advertisements to social media
· Assist with marketing all Chapter events
