Mitigating Application Risk Upfront

Presented by

Randy Moeller, IGP, CIP

Key Discussion Points:

  • Application security, privacy, disposal risks
  • Application risk mitigation

Summary of Topic:

The digital transformation age has increased the creation of applications and databases to all-time highs. There are even apps that create apps will little to no coding. This growth compounds the governance issues regarding security, privacy, disposal and more. After noted security issues and loss of data, P&G developed a risk-based governance application review process to mitigate the issues. Review their real-world problems, development of their solution and a few tough learnings along the way.
